How do I throw a baby shower when all my friends are guys?

My best friend, bless her heart, is more excited about my new pregnancy than i am, and wants to help plan the baby shower. The problem is, almost all of my friends are male. Any ideas on what i should do in this situation?

Answer #1

Don’t you have family that are females? Usually a baby shower includes family members, not just friends.

Answer #2

Baby showers dont have to be all girly. Plenty of people are throwing baby showers that are more laid back like bbqs where people just bring gifts and hang out and eat instead of being all girly. Your friends arent the only people that should be there…what about your family and his. Im sure they would love to be included.

Answer #3

well obviously my family includes girls. However.. in case you haven’t seen my pic, I’m quite young. So the amount of supportive family attending is likely to be scarce. Baby Shower for 5 people doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun. lol
