Disfunctional baby shower
I wish to throw a baby shower for my niece. My nieces’ father-(my brother in law), has a live in girl friend who wanted her to abort the baby. My niece is young but married and not living with her father and his girlfriend. The girlfriend has bucked like a horse- that its not my place, the girl is being greedy -(to have a baby shower), she would have had a shower, etc… Then the girlfriend said -go ahead and have a shower, dont invite me. I must proceed with the plan for my niece and her son to come. Do I invite this girlfriend?
No, I don’t think she should go, I know if she wud have showed up at my baby shower It would have ruined it. Its not her day. Plus if she wanted the baby aborted then, she doesn’t even care anyway.
I think you should invite her but to let her know before hand that you want to have a nice baby shower for you niece with no one else “stealing the spotlight”.
Story is confusing to me, but I hope the baby will get a chance at Life and the right thing to do - invite her regardless - she can’t snap back later ‘you didn’t invite me !!’…Take care !!
