Who would consider being a surrogate for a gay couple?

Answer #1

If I had my own children already then I would, but I wouldnt want that to be my first pregnancy. I have thought about being a surrogate in general, and Im not going to discriminate based on sexual orientation.

Answer #2

I don’t see why not.

Answer #3

I’m only 16, but as of yet I’ve never thought I’d be able to be a surrogate. I’d want the child and it’d be heartbreaking for me to lose it so I don’t think I could be one in general. My opinion could change later in life, but I think that as Danielle has said, I wouldn’t discriminate based on sexual orientation.

Answer #4

i have a son already and can’t imagine giving him away it would be to heart breaking i would never be able to be a surrogate

Answer #5

If i was old enough i would, because i think gay couples should be able to enjoy the experience that men & women couples experience. no one should discriminate based on the sex of the couple.

Answer #6

I’m not sure if I could go through with it as I would miss not having the baby with me after carrying it for months and months and finally giving birth. My answer would still be “no” regardless if the surrogacy is for a gay or straight couple.

Answer #7

I personally could never be a surrogate mother for any couple, regardless of their sexual orientation for the same reason i could never give a child up for adoption. After experiencing pregnancy twice now and everything that comes along with it, i could never have a baby grow inside of me, become attatched to it, feel it kick and grow, and then just hand it over to someone else. It may be selfish, but i couldnt live knowing i have a child out there that i carried.

Answer #8

I have never had a child, so I guess I don’t really have the experience needed to answer this question. But if I had my own children already, then I probably would. If a couple wanted a baby so much, and I could help them, I’d definitely seriously consider it.
