Study tips please

I’m 16 in 10th grade and I hate to admit it but I have poor studding habits, what are some study tips that I may use to advance my knowledge in my class

when you go home from school block out four hours where you will do nothing but homework and study, make sure you have a desk and a quiet space to do this

If maths is your weakest subject, try practising as much as you can by borrowing books from the library, do some of the math questions that are in the book ( chose sample questions that are similar to what your class is doing)

if your not very good with memorising details, write them down on a A5 paper or on a “post it note”, jog down the materials you have read in point form… have regular quiz study nights with your family, ask your brother / sister if they can read some questions out and you provide them with the answers.

When you research something, try to break it down. Like search it in steps. Use a slight amount of keywords. Do your studying in a room where you won’t be disturbed so that you can really focus. Try to get it out of the way quickly so that you don’t get stressed because stress can make you forgetful and slow.
