The best thing to do would be to set a budget (something that you can afford to spend, without it hurting you financially), and then work within that range. As stated, you do not need to purchase an extremely expensive dress to look great on the occasion. You just need to shop around and find something that suits your need. Check local stores, check magazines in your area, etc. You'll find something good in a good price range. ^^
Whatever you want to spend. Go look for the ones you like, find the one that fits you right and just that has the qualities that you are looking for. Then go ahead and look at the prices, consider your options first. There is not really a limit, it is a very special night.
I never had a prom, but I spent $400 NZD on my formal dress if that helps. I don't think you need to spend a lot on a dress, just shop around and find one that you like, and can afford. A lot of shops make affordable dresses for young girls these days.
well first when going shopping have a price range and the kind of dress and where you'd like to buy it it narrows it down alot! than like the color and cut and your good to go for the perfect dress my mom does this with her stylist
enough to satisfy your look. Sonething that suits your figure and tone. Not everything needs to be pricey.
