Where are some places to get a nice but inexpensive prom dress?

Prom is coming up very soon and all my friends have gotten dresses already..I dont want to get an expensive one but I dont want a tacky looking one either..

Try a department store! I really like the ones at Sears they have dresses for as low as around $50-$60.

Well, I’m not the dress wearing type, but sometimes I’ll go to the mall and play dress-up in the fitting rooms, putting on dresses and granny shirts, and things that I Would never wear. Doing so, I realised, wow these dresses really are not that bad, still I’d never wear them as anything, but a joke, but these are nice. Aha. So to answer your question, Macey’s, Sears’, and J C Penny’s has some pretty decent dresses for lost cost, I’d imagine. I didn’t look at the price tags too much, as I was not planning to make a purchase. :P

You could get a second hand one. It would be only worn once or a few times so it would be in new condition, and it could be a really expensive one, but for like half the price. you don’t have to tell anybody that you got it second hand.
