skipping my monthly

Hi, okay here it is… I’m 17 and since I’ve started haveing my period I’ve always been very consistant. But I haven’t had one since December. There is no way of me being pregnet, And I haven’t really changed my diet. At first I was thinking stress but things have toned down and I still didn’t have it. In January I went to the gyno for the first time (for other reasons) and she said That I was fine.
Any one have any Ideas on why I’m missing?

How long ago have you started your period? If you started when you where 16 or 15 your body may still need time to regulate. You may have started out having regular periods but your body still requires at least 4 or 5 years to actually stabalize itself. If you say that the stress has “toned down” then you may still be reeling from whatever stress you may have been under.

If being pregnant is definitely out of the question give yourself another month or two to give yourself time to adjust to any present emotions or situations. If after a month or two passes and your still worried talk with your gyno to discuss any means of regulating your period. Birth control is a great way for you to regulate your period, reduce cramps and clear up acne. All this in one pill may seem impossible but if given the right prescription for your body type they are guarenteed to help you.

Honestly I have no idea but I would suggest that you go see your doctor about this. It is probably not serious as when you first start things can be irregular but it’s better to to check with the doctor.
