they will help flatten and tone your stomach mussels and abs. Start by doing 10 in a set several imes a day and add 1 more per day till you get to the level you want

Sit Ups/Crunches are an isolation exercise for your abdominal region. The main purpose of these exercises is to strengthen your abs, not “tone” them. In order to “tone” them, you need to lose overall body fat which involves eating below maintenance.

I also want to point out that the shape of the abs as well as how many heads show (2,4,6,8,10 pack) depend also on your genetics in conjunction with a balanced diet.

I think it’s better if you do it like every other day or something- give your muscles time to recuperate. You’ll see better and faster results. Then again Usher does 1000 every day and that dude is cut like a mathafuka lol

Sit-ups indirectly tone your abs by increasing your metabolism, but this is a slow process. Such exercises are for bulding muscle and strength. If you want to tone your abs more quickly, throw in some cardio and be mindful of your nutrition. It takes a while, but the fat will eventually disappear :).
