Was it your car? He probably ran a license check and determined the registered owner had a suspended license.

Theres no reason for her to be mistreated if she has a valid drivers lisence. I would go up to the police station and report his behavior.

But my license is NOT suspended! But the sheroff told her that was the reason he pulled her over. Was because the owner’s license was suspended,which was a lie.

Actually, here it goes: Do you have one of those “vanity” license plates, or a non-vanity license plate? Those with a non-vanity license plate are often given tickets or run into other problems because of parking tickets, toll tag booth violations, and other such things, because those with a similar character sequence on their license plate have violations…and, certain law enforcement people didn’t follow through in properly identifying the type of license plate.

FURTHER, there’s also, as I understand it, software that is able to monitor traffic around law enforcement vehicles, without the police even having to do a traffic stop first, that allows them to have a survey of different people and information - and yes, warrants, etc., related to or otherwise associated with a license plate.

Because traffic stops can be dangerous, they claim that they have better information to work with in having such a multi-relational database. So much for our rights to privacy.

BTW: I heard or read that TN already has this software in place. That it’s possible use might have popped up on the west coast, shouldn’t be such a surprise.
