Pulled over without reason

A cop pulled over my friend because he was talking to one of his friends and I think the mistake of his was that the made a double parking spot, the pilice saw him and asked him to move which he did right away, after 10 feet the police turned on the light in order for my friend to stop, unfurtunally my friend has a lisence expirated and for the past 5 years he had’n get into any problem and I believe the pilice did not have the reason to stop him…everything ins, regristration, is on time… My frien even asked him if one of his friend could pick up the car and the cop said no…they towed the car,, now he has to pay tickets and plus a towed for 2 days,, I wonder if this was a fair situation, my friend only use his car for transportation to go to work,,, what he can do??? Nothing??? How strong are the polices officers?? What question can I ask to a cop at the time the pull over a car???/

  1. Only the officer knows why he decide to pull him over - a myriad of reasons possible and 2) if your friend hadn’t let his license expire, the rest of the story doesn’t happen - it’s wise to stay legal and avoid headaches.
Answer #2

Maybe after the cop told him to move he ran his license plate (they do this all the time when they’re behind someone…how else do you think they find stolen cars?) and found out that his license expired. If the car is registered to him then he would of seen on his computer that his license is expired. The cop would of definately pulled him over because it is ILLEGAL to drive without a valid driver’s license.

You know, there are a million reasons why police can pull you over and there is really nothing you can do about it.
