Can you sell a fake item on ebay and claim it is real and then not accept refunds?

I know for sure it’s fake, do they have to give me a refund?

You can report them to ebay and they will either have to refund your money or you can sue. If they said it was real, then it should have been real. They broke the law by selling you a product with a flase claim.

You can report them to Ebay and if you used Paypal you can report them to them too. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if in the end you’ll get a refund , but its definitely worth the time of try. Be sure to give the Seller a horrible review, at least it will hurt his selling potential a bit. I’m sorry you got taken advantage of. It is not fair.

everything with ebay is a type of verbal contract if they posted something saying what the item was and it is not what they actually said it was you can take it up with ebay and there is a good chance that you can return the item and get a refund

They cant do that, it is against the law, if it is really a fake ebay will have to refund your money

Did you pay by paypal? If so you can put request a return of funds.

I actually purchased a fake item on Ebay once, they caught it before I even got the item in the mail. The $$ was refunded to me and I still had what I bought. It was crap, but I still had it lol. I also bought something from a bad seller on there, I paid and didnt get an item, that took forever to get my $ back. But I would report it to Ebay and Paypal (or other pay site that was used)
