Do you charge for shipping when selling on Ebay or use free shipping to entice buyers?

Sometimes I use free shipping but if the items doesn’t sell too well, I actually end up using money since I will have to use the money I got paid for the item for shipping so the buyer basically just got the item for free. But sometimes if it is something popular then I use free shipping and it gets buyers more excited.

I’m not a seller, but I do buy a lot of things on eBay. What I’d personally recommend trying is adding the shipping cost in the original item price, then marking the item as ‘free shipping’. A lot of other sellers do this. If your item does not sell then, re-list it.

I dont sell, but personally as a buyer I usually go for the free shipping deals. Not sure why, it just seems more inticing when you see the word FREE.
