Do Roman Catholics worship Jesus Christ or Mary the mother of Jesus?

Roman Catholics worship God in His 3 personas the father-God the son-Jesus the spirit-holy spirit. I dont think we worship Mother Mary, i just think she’s like a saint or something, we pray to her & stuff, not sure really :)

Lol I think she knows that Jesus Christ and Jesus are the same person.

I know, I was merely pointing out the fact that Kellie was being obvious in a patronising sort of way. I’ve never met or spoken to a single person in my life that doesn’t know who Jesus Christ/Jesus is. Expressing my freedom of speech, right?

I was going to say the same thing when I first seen the answer, but I just left it. “first of all Jesus and Jesus christ is the same person so yeah “ The person that asked this question never said they weren’t the same person.

Is praying an act of worship?

i think it is, haha, im not a religion expert really :))) but worship is like a deeper kind of thing…

but if it includes prayer, toward whom should we address our prayers? (Mathew 4:10)

MAry is honored in our church she is the Queen of all saints and Heaven she should be honored she was Jesus’s mother

Absolutely NOT. We honor Mary as she deserves, being the mother of Jesus, and our adopted mother as well (when Jesus gave her to John on the cross as her mother and he her son, He was speaking to all of us). We ask Mary to help bring us closer to her son, as she knows Him in a way we do not. What mother does not first direct another’s attention to her child out of love and pride? Mary does this all the more with Jesus, showing us His love through a proud and loving mother’s eyes.
