Why does my PUPPY! keep trying to mount me?

today my puppy mounted me twice today. and its weird cuz like he always jumps and climbs on me and wags his tail and licks me so i thought he was playing but then when i get up and turn around to walk away he does it again but this time he wraped his arms around me and started moving and i as like repulsed and pushed him off. its just really weird cuz hes not full grown and i didn’t know that puppies do that. is that normal? i cant rememebr how old he is i jsut remember hes still young,BUT he does not look like a puppy hes a bit bigger. not huge but large enough to destroy things like he can tackle me down and nock me over. and he has ALOT of energy because hes young still and hes VERY playful. but like, why the fuk is he doing this? i dont think anyone did anything to him because we dont have people over recently when we do they are not alone with him. is it normal for him to do this or is something like wrong?

Yes, it’s normal. Puppies will do that. Dogs younger than that will do that. It’s 100% normal. Just tell him NO when he does it and scold him.

When any dog does that they are trying to ascertain dominance. When het jumps, put your knee up to stop him.

my uncles dog used to do that, and its normal for puppies and dogs in general to do that, there trying to basicly dominate you just stop them with your knee and say NO
