It depends what context it's used in. If you were to write: 'My mother grew a banana tree. Because she likes monkeys.' That would be wrong, But you can start a sentence with 'because' like this: 'Because of the recent thunderstorms in our area, my mother's banana tree died.'
The correct answer wud then be: my mother grew bananas because.... that's wud b the correct way to answer the question, not because.... You understand now
Yes, you can. It just depends on how you use it. As long as you use a complete sentence with it feel free to start the sentence with because.
