So… I think I’m pretty good with words and grammar and such, but there’s one thing that’s really bothering me. Which of these sentences is correct?
Pringles are addicting. Pringles are addictive.
Right, if “addicting” were ever used (HAS it ever been used?), it would be in the sense of, say, someone actively trying to get addicted to something. As in, “He’s addicting himself to heroin by eating it on toast every day.”
