Answer #1

Your dog can bleed to death over a few days if not helped asap. The ingredients in mouse/rat poison are designed to stop the blood from clotting, this will happen to your dog too. Go to the vet now and don’t look for other answers that involve home remedies. GO TO THE VET!!!

Hey My dog ate Rat poison once when I was like 4 and she was just a puppy. Now I’m 13 and shes 8 and shes fine. So your dog will probably be fine but just to make sure bring it to a vet. Hope I helped.

Answer #3

Vitamin K will help coagulate the blood, but do you really KNOW how much she ate? Now get to the VET…Rat poison?? Why ask us, go to the VET!!

Answer #4

THE VET…!!! OR IF you CAN’T FIND A OPEN VET…POISON CONTROL!!! IDIOT…DON’T WASTE TIME ASKING THE COMPUTER!!!. good luck :)

Answer #5

Most rat poison contains an anticoagulant (blood thinner) causing death to the rat by internal bleeding. the usual treatment is vitamin K. GO TO A VET RIGHT NOW!!! May I suggest that in the future, your animal should go to the vert FIRST, then you should waste time typing. Sorry, but if YOU had swallowed the rat poison, your mom would have taken you to the emergency room.
