Who knows if dogs can catch poison ivy?

My dog cannot stop scratching at the same spot! He has a wound too. =(

Answer #1

If it is ONE spot, it’s not poison ivy. It’s likely:

A) Been injured so he’s licking it to fix it b) has a skin condition there c) got stung by something d) Has a “tic” (Obsessively licking that area)

For any of those reasos, I’d go to the vent to have it checked out.

  1. How could poison ivy be localized to 1 area
  2. Why are you asking US and not rushing him to the vet if he has a wound?
Answer #2

idk..i just realized it =/ Thanks so much tho!! I’m taking him to the vet ASAP
