why do people get allergies?

Answer #1

I think it has something to do with the immune system. Some people are born with allergies.

Answer #2

An allergy is just an abnormal reaction of the immune system against stuff that is basically harmless. Sometimes the reaction is mild, and sometimes it is an extreme reaction. They dont know exactly why some people get allergies and some dont.

Answer #3

It’s genetic.

Allergies become more prominent and noticed, though, because of your lymphatic system’s response to the allergen received.

Answer #4

It’s when you have a weak immune system, some people are born with a weak immune system i.e. you often see allergies in premature, underdeveloped babies. I have tons of allergies due to my father smoking in my presence as a child. It messed up my immune system, other people get it because of poor lifestyle and not enough nutrition

Answer #5

yeah. its basically a false scare caused by an alien cell entering ur body with a harmless pathogen attached to it. ur body thinks its a germ, so it begans the immune reaction, but in a slightly different way. This way may cause swelling (cuz ur blood veins and arteries swell to allow more WBCs to flow) and redness (cuz more blood is flowing. lol, atleast thats what we learnt in bio.

Answer #6

Answer #7
