Do they cover you during a pelvic exam?
I might have to get a pelvic exam. I am afraid my mom will come into chaperon. If she does will she see me naked or will the drape cover it up. This is my first time and I am very nervous.
yes they drape a cover over your legs, and your mom doesnt have to stay, I asked my mom to stay outside during mine. There might be a nurse or assianst of some kind in the room with you (there was when I got mine) but she stayed in a postition to where she couldnt see anything.
word of advice, relax! the more you tense up the worse it is, I know its not the best of situations but the more you relax the easier it will be! and its quick so dont stress about it! :D
they do have a drape over your legs and your mother does not have to come in. if she does she needs to stay up at your head and respect your pricvacy and the fact you may be nervous.
You have the right to go in by ureself, which the doctor might suggest, if not im sure she wont stay ‘that’ end so she can see
