Can I use Neosporin with pain relief on a c-section incision?

I called my doctor and am waiting on a callback, just wanted to see if anyone on here had any experience with this. I had a c-section 6 days ago and Im out of my prescribed pain medicine and tylenol is working for the most part, but its still very tender. I was just wondering if neosporin could be used on the incision?
