How much time should i spend with my cat?

My cat is an indoor cat, it was very frustrating coming home because he would always try to run outside. I learned that if you give him a bath everytime he goes outside, (even for a brief moment) he learns that its best just to say inside over the long run.

WELL MY PARENTS LET MY CAT DAISY AND SIMON GO OUTSIDE MAYBE you SHOULD LET THEM GO OUTSIDE AND WATHC THEM AND SEE IF THERE GOOD ENOUGH TO LET THEM STAY OUTSIDE WITH OUT U HOPE that HELPED :)

There are a lot more risk with letting a cat outside like getting hit by a car, someone taking it in, if it gets in a fight it could get a abcess, More vaccines are required it is called Felv vaccine, we give this at the hospitsl where I work if your cat goes outside of if you have more then a 3 cat household. If your cat is declawed then do not let them outside they have no way to defend themselves. Is your cat spayed or neutered? If not you are adding to the over population of cats by letting them outside
