Muscle weight

How many pounds of muscle can one reasonably expect to gain in 2 weeks of exercise and healthy diet? With a workout including hiit and lots of lunges (as well as cardio including cardio boxing)

Im just looking for an estimate

well, I TOTALLY get what yorue saying and am not trying to argue that it IS muscle weight, but I wasn’t out of shape to begin with. I’ve played sports all my life and love to work out, am capable of running 6-7 miles without stopping (and in decent time), etc. so I dont know that the pain would really have too much to do with it?

It depends on how much you exercise. If you weight train for 8 hours a day, and take in huge volumes of calories (10,000+/day) and protein, you can realistically put on several pounds of muscle in 2 weeks.

…but if you’re just starting out, you simply CAN’T do that. You are not conditioned for it. If you’re just starting out., 2 weeks is just enough time to get over the excruciating pain you will start feeling 2 days after you start working out. Sorry, but that’s how it works.

Answer #3

In two WEEKS? not even a 1 pound.
