Media piracy

What do you think about media piracy? Pro or against? Or just dont care? Please give a reason for your answer id like very much to read expanded views

I’d say my view on the matter falls somewhere between thedude and wirelesshacker. I mainly just download music, but I use dvd fab too, so that’s two types of media piracy that I’m guilty of. I say, I know how to get the stuff I want without paying for it so why should I pay for it? It’s basically stealing, which is illegal, but when software and internet sites exist that make it possible to acquire media in a less than legal way, it’s kinda hard to turn it down! Most of the actors and musicians involved in the pirated media have enough money to live like idiots, and they all have way more money than I have, so what does it hurt if I “borrow” a few songs or movies? I think if the government really wanted to stop all this, they should enforce strict rules on the software and internet sites that make us capable of pirating the stuff in the first place. Until then, I’m gonna take what I can get!

If everybody steals music…the musicians can’t eat & must get day jobs. If I like music, they nee to be able to make a living, therefore, irregardless of the law, I have to support that which I like otherwise, it won’t be around anymore.

thats total bull I have about 10 tb of software worth prob a few hundred thousand its all mine I did not pay a cent who cares take advantage of it when you can and how can the goverment force stupid laws like that down our mouths when they are the biggest theves is all I have to say is 3 words to back my claims ( halliburton miltary contractoror) I rest my case
