What: Is marijuana (or however you spell it) legal to have in Canada now?

Ohs..alrightie. What happens if you’re caught with it then? Do you go to jail?

I believe just for medicinal purposes. Its so silly to me that marijuana is illegal in the first place, its so much less harmful than alcohol.

Regardless if it’s legal, please don’t smoke it, especially if you can’t spell it. Good lord. It’s like kids asking “Y do I have to go 2 Skool?” or “Am I pregant”?

If you can’t spell it, don’t be involved with it. Can’t spell marijuana? Don’t kill even MORE brain cells by smoking something you can’t even spell. Can’t spell school or write a coherent sentence? PLEASE go to school. Can’t spell “pregnant”? PLEASE don’t have sex OR pro-create.

it would depend how much you got caught with… the police over here (UK) will just confiscate small ammounts of it and send you off with a warning… its only like i think £10+ bags of it that you will be arrested and go to court..

Agreed :) but I think ciggarettes should be illegal, but like weed and alcohol should be legal. Cuz alcohol’s fun lol and weed is fun but ciggarettes are just gross.

I wouldn’t say legal by any means, yet for medicinal as before mentioned.. However it is tolerated lets say. more in the way of decriminalization. Of course if you are growing it or selling it you will be prosecuted in some sort depending on how much and the parameters involving the arrest which are often worse than the crime… But for a normal user you would have to be doing something else really bad to get arrested for simple possession and even then they may overlook personal amounts and charge you with whatever you were doing… unless it comes to driving, different story… and unfortunately the only reason I don’t think it should be legalized completely is cause i dont want every cheech and chong driving around while I or anyone is riding a bicycle etc… not everyone can handle their chronic and although there are tests there isnt anything overly reliable to test for dui when smoking.. sounds complicated i guess.. but its not.
