Why is it that lots of people hate Canadians????

Hate is such a strong word, I know I do not hate yall, and I am from Texas.

Hate Canadians? Really? I’ve never heard that. I’ve always heard Canadians are generally well like world wide. Canadians get teased a lot, but its all in good fun, never in meanness.

I dont think alot of people “hate” canadians. I do however notice in alot of american movies or tv shows they make fun of canadians for their accent, slang, an customs. Its the same with any culture thats different though. Im from the south and people/tvshows/movies make fun of southerners all the time. Such as - The waterboy (which was filmed in my state), The beverly hillbillys, Tru Blood, and tons more. Its all fun and for humor…

They play good Hockey.

I’ve seen many people make fun of Canada for it’s customs, but I have never heard someone say they hate Canada. Maybe thats because I live in Canada, and people don’t live in a country they hate( if they have a way of leaving the country they hate). But people do make fun of Canada. Here in Canada we make fun of Americans all the time, well at least I do. But thankfully it’s all fun and games.

I love Canadians. They are like 1/2 our economy, and usually a lot nicer than other people that come here from outa state.

I dont think people hate Canadians because they come from Canada perhaps some may just hate a particular person who happens to be Canadian… Like my ex’s ho…I hate her & she is from Canada…but I dont hate Canadians bcz the love of my life lives in Canada so how odd would that be…I did love to tease him though for his accent & the way he said things…(he was from Nova Scotia…) so I used to tease him when he said aboot…(when he meant about) or how he said boot (when he meant boat) and the way he said ayee(when he meant yes) of course the famous line…when someone canadian was around was “so ur canadian ehy, where aboot!” I just couldnt help myself from laughing…no offense my luvly Canadians…we luv you! (hate certain people though!) :P
