Who thinks Marijuanna should be legal?

Who thinks Marijuanna should be legal?

Answer #1

I think if it was legal, it’d be a lot more expensive and hella more difficult to get. It’d be like alcohol and cigarettes. It’s easier to get without it being legal because it’s just everywhere… :/

Answer #2

I actually think all drugs should be legal - but controlled of course, similar to alcohol.

Decriminalization would:

  • keep imperfect but beneficial families together rather than leaving 1/2 of inner city kids to be raised on the streets
  • reduce the crime load on prisons and the judicial system by more than 1/2
  • wipe out the driving force behind street gangs
  • wipe out the revenue source for terrorists
  • allow drug addicts to come forth for treatment rather than hiding for fear of prosecution
  • allow clean needles to be distributed helping to halt the spread of HIV and other diseases
  • increase tax revenue

The war on drugs is not only a hopeless dismal failure and an endless sinkhole of tax money doing nothing, but it’s also the root cause of much of the violence and otehr real crimes in our society.

Answer #3

I’m happy that its illegal which is all I’m going to say

Answer #4

I love weed,haha.

it should be leagal, but all organice;)

Answer #5

I think it should be leagle but at the same time its fun breaking the law >:)

Answer #6

lol, they don’t gotta add nothin to weed to make it great, they gotta add stuff to cigarrettes because they suck, at least until you get used to em, and then they’re great

Answer #7

I think it should be legal. :)

but I’m pretty sure if it was, they’d put so many chemicals & stuff in it, that’d it’d be just like a cigarette.

& that’d be no fun. loll. :D

Answer #8

it matters because going to jail over smokin an herb is stupid, sittin next to crackheads and people who steal and kill and rape women and children, just because you smoke you gotta chill wit dem people? Locked in a cage for smokin is the dumbest thing ever

Answer #9

if they sold it in stores, rolled up in packs like cigs, and it was good stuff, they’d make a killing, also I’ve heard they have tax certificates in some places, you pay your taxes on the herb, and then you’re allowed to carry the amount of herb you paid the taxes for though I’ve heard it’s expensive

Answer #10

Pot isn’t a bad thing. In many cases it has helped people relax and helps their stress level go down. I did a debate on this topic against my English teacher and won. :D I think the only reason they wont legalize it is because they can’t tax it. There are too many people who grow it and other such things..

Answer #11

definitely youre sticking kids who use a plant to relax with murderers and scumbags…make sense?

I think all drugs should be legal but thats another story xD

Answer #12

Definatly brings people togather, from all walks of life… Potheads don’t usually fight over their differences, they smoke some and talk it out… and if you smoke, and you meet a smoker, it’s easier to make freinds because you both share the same comfort zone :)

Answer #13

I dont think mj is as bad as drinking, it brings people together, no1 has ever overdosed on it and it is legalized in some states so why not? right?

Answer #14

also, most people aren’t going to spend 50 bux a gram on some dope to lace your 5 dollar a gram weed. Only thing you gotta watch out for really is raid, or if you have an enemy don’t buy from em because they could angel dust it or something, but no one is going to spend that kind of money to get at you unless they really hate you in which case, thats not weeds fault, thats you having enemys fault lol

Answer #15

People wouldn’t be trying to hustle it on the street if it were legal, unless it was specialty stuff. and as long as you got a license just like to sell liquer you should be fine to sell weed. Also, if you’re smoking weed laced with crack or coke and you don’t know it you’re retarded already and shouldn’t be smokin anything. If you don’t notice the big white chunks, or the little white powder on your weed, then you sure as hell should taste it and stop after only the 1 tasting puff. Plus if weed was legal, people would chill out on other stuff. You know how many people I know, turned to drinking or coke because weed takes so long to get out of your system… thats sooo stupid, the most harmless thing ever treated like it’s crack.

Answer #16

They couldn’t sell it in stores because people are selling in on the streets, so that wouldn’t help anyone make a killing, because other people would sell it for less. I don’t think it should be legalized, what’s the point? It might make you feel good, but other things can too. Weed can be mixed with crack, heroin, speed, or any other kind of drug, which CAN kill you. America already smokes the most weed anyway, even though it isn’t legalized. American’s do more drugs than countrys where it is legal. So, still what’s the point? And kids are already driving under the influence at age sixteen and eighteen. Why add weed to the mix? It’s just stupid. I think they should only make it legal for sick people, and people who need it for a medical reason. Not just for the fun of it.

Answer #17

In cali they’re legalizing it for things as minor as anxiety, and they’re not legalizing it recreationally, but they are de criminalizing it, you can get caught with I think up to 2 ounces and only get a ticket, the same as a traffic ticket type, and it’s in multiple states that they’re doing it.. I live in FL, this will be the last place to ever do that lmao, but one day it won’t be a crime to smoke one up. like I said, maybe it shouldn’t be promoted for use… but there’s no way in hell it should be considered a freakin CRIME to burn a J.

Answer #18

I’ve known a lot of potheads, some of them very smart and I have never seen one of them get smarter or enlightened. I think that your arguements really don’t matter because the world we live in will never legalize pot for recreational use. It’s something that would scare too many people. Besides if pot is legal that means that even the president would be able to do it. Do you really want to live in a world where the person running the country is stoned all the time? I would think that the only people comfortable with that would also be stoned. And just so you know, I have smoked it and I still don’t think that it should be legal.

Answer #19

You know what makes weed look bad? It’s because like dumb people smoke and they get dumber, smart people smoke and they get enlightened… Sick people smoke and they get better or at least feel better… but all we see in the mainstream is the stereotype of the dumb a$$ pothead who ain’t worth SH*T… It’s in so many comedys and funny stuff, that even I love to watch, but when you think about it, it just makes us look bad. They should do a TV show where the main chr is actually a really really smart pothead lol.

The line between genuis and insanity is very thin lol

Answer #20

I don’t think it should be except for medical reasons. Why would we want a bunch of stoned people walking around? What would that accomplish? It would be the same thing as having a bunch of drunk people walking around, that would be why you get arrested for public intoxication. If you’re going to do it, then the law is not going to stop you, but why should it be ok to get stoned?

By the way, I’ve known a lot of potheads who do fight over their differences. And you know, you can bond over any hobby, potheads aren’t the only ones to do that.

Answer #21

y duz it matter people use it anyway?

Answer #22

yea I think it should be too but wit limits..18 and older =D

Answer #23

and why?

Answer #24

I do because its not really that bad

Answer #25

I defiitely do,but with limits, like alcohol. marijuana has many benefits, mostly medical ones. but if you abuse it, thats when you can have a problem. there should be a 21+ limit, like with alochol.

Answer #26

people finally coming to their senses

lol dont listen to what people tell u, its all misleading information you need to do your own research and see for urself

These are some of the comments I have copied from a forum

-pharmaceuticals are known to kill more people than illegal drugs

-marijuana is the number 1 cash crop in the world it serves as a natural medicine and has many other uses thats why they prohibited it so big companies can make more profit thanks to “bad journalism”

-can also help aids patients, aids diminishes appetite have them smoke a joint and they regain their appetite counteracting the illness

-no one can die from smoking cannabis and has been no known deaths compared to everything else including alcohol, tobacco, etc..

I myself have asthma and smoking opens up my airways making it easier to breathe with no side effects when medically legalized in my state I look foward to becoming a patient for prescription marijuana. 12 states have already legalized it along with other countries in the world and more following my job is to educate people that are not aware of the plants uses

re-legalize!

-I did most of my research through websites, books, magazines, and the news norml.org high times magazine etc..

  • theres more to it than just getting high and I believe legalizing it would make this a better world to live in

-God bless the whole crop!

  • and for people that dont smoke, you dont need to smoke it to support it

-all the better reason for the government to legalize.. couple reasons why it should be legalized: -will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members -medical reasons -would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+) -would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed -prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders) -keep patients from being convicted -would provide millions of jobs for people -would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions

the list goes on

  • the War on Drugs is a failure, its a war on its own people. policies need to be changed we pay billions in taxpayers money to keep the war going and neither side is winning thats just a waste of our tax money I wonder what they do with all that money.. those greedy bastards just sell drugs back onto the street, you can even check urself on that there was a time when there was a cia operation transporting drugs overseas into america the government also provided Rick Ross with plenty of heroin to go around, course making money from it

the truth must be exposed, theyre dirty work must stop!

-Of course we can do something about it, we all just need to unite screw the federal government remember slavery? if no one stood up im pretty sure it would still be going on people were tortured, beaten, killed and thrown in jail but that didnt stop them standing up for their rights eventually slavery was abolished same with alcohol prohibition eventually became re-legalized

  • its like theres some kind of conspiracy going on I sense the government is up to no good and trying to control us. credit cards, money, and now they have chips that can be implanted in skin for uselful reasons but if in the wrong hands well were pretty much fuct they hiding the truth from us its dangerous to be right when the government is wrong they got theyre privacy but we dont. they want to know everything were doing on our leisure time

get up stand up!

  • marijuanas not anti-establishment because its illegal, its illegal because its anti-establishment
