Leather squeaks.

Does anybody have any clue how to make leather stop squeaking? Like, I’ve got a few pairs of leather boots that I love, but I can’t wear half the time because they squeak when I walk. One pair is normal leather and the other is the really shiny leather (which squeaks worse.)

One possible solution is wd-40….however, instead of oil, I’d try some leather shampoo, which you can find at many grocery stores, etc. The product is supposed to keep the leather supple and soft, which is part of the reason you get the squeaky sound, as it dries out.
