Gasoline on leather

I need a home recipe for removing the smell of gasoline that spilled onto my leather purse. The is no visible evidence of the gas…just the odor…???

It will disappear with time, once it fully evaporates.

if I was you ill put perfume in it or take it to the cleanerrs tats what I do with my leather bags

“KH Builder”. Mix a real strong solution of it & shake it well, many times, then let it settle. Try putting a small amount in a hidden place & rinse well with fresh water. Let it dry & see if it works & doesn’t bleach it out. Don’t let it set on the leather, rinse within a minute or so. Hope this helps.
