I haven't heard of one 'expiring' and I have never seen an expiration date on a lamp, but I do know that over time the bulbs that heat the lamp need replacing every so often (they burn out). The contents inside of the glass can also become a little strange looking and acting over time. The life span of the light usually depends on the usage and conditions in which it is placed in, however.
If your lamp isn't working the way it should, replacing it would be your best option.
i got one in my living room that ive had for neally 7 years an its still as good as the day my mate bought it for me :p
I still have one and i haven't used it in a while, so i got a new bulb and the matter inside hasn't moved an inch
Lava Lamps are known to have short life spans. So yes they do expire, but you can always change the bulb inside
No, there's still a few out there. Like wal-mart or thrift stores.
Go figure, you can find all kinds of worthless junk at Wal-Mart.
I though lava lamps expired in the 70's.
How long can you have it before it does?
LOL, now it is kinda a lava glob.
Lava lamps aren't worthless! LOL
Yup
