ok since everyone else has already addressed the safety issue I will address the health side. early morning jogs are healthier because it kick starts your metabolism. running shortly after waking up gets your muscles warmed up and your blood pumping. this will help you to be more alert throughout the day.(it has almost nothing to do with your stomach being empty) see http://funadvice.com/r/14us1f0kjcl for more information (replace the (dot)s with .s)
Apart from the safety issues, morning jobs are better as they kick-start your metabolism for the day and make you feel more energized. Jogging in the evening doesn't really do much but make it hard for you to get to sleep! MAKE SURE you wait around 3 hours after eating before you run so that your legs and tummy aren't competing for blood.
For your age (16) I believe early mornings, night jogs aren't safe. First of all, it'll start your day off great making you feel good the rest of the day. Also, morning is better for you because you burn more fat – your stomach is empty hence you burn through the fat quicker.
Everyone’s different but I prefer an early morning jog as this gives me an extra boost of energy for the day ahead. If you are one of those people who love to sleep in when the alarm clock goes off, then a late evening jog would be more feasible.
Early morning is safer than night time. Pros & Cons
Early Morn Jog- Safer, people can see where you are, Cons- You have to get up early
Night Jog- Cooler, less people out Con- People can't see you, and it's unsafe
I would agree the morning is safer, but also after a whole days work....who has energy to work out at night. Plus u will get that morning energy to get u stated for the day
Early Morning, the other points are good also but if you start your day out with a workout it will continue to burn fat throughout the whole day.
also will burn more calories AFTER the jog while sitting in class etc etc
