What kind of of dishes do you cook for lunch/dinner that's everyone's favorite in the house?

Spaghetti, steak, ribs and other things are all favorites in this house but of course spaghetti is the most commonly seen since you need decent cash for steak and ribs all the time, not that I’d want that …

Baked chicken breast, loaded baked potatos, and broccli chedder rice. Chicken and sausage gumbo. Crawfish etoufee. Garlic butter shrimp with fried rice and veggies. Homemade Quesadillas. Enchiladas. Meatballs in gravy with mashed potatos. Tatertot Casseroll. Porkchops with roasted potatos and rice and gravy.

I’m afraid we don’t have a communal favourite in this house … 3 of us might love something, and the fourth hates it - pretty much works out that way every time. I’d say pizza was a pretty safe choice, but I’m so sick of pizza, lol. To be honest, I rarely cook the same food more than once, so it’s hard to make something a favourite.

In my family no one is really picky, so we make almost anything. Some of my fav things to cook for my family is:

  • Home made pizza
  • Spaghetti bolanaise
  • Spaghetti and meatballs with tomato ragu sauce.
  • Chrispy chicken hawain wraps
  • Beef Wellington
  • Sweet and Sour chicken stir fry
  • Lasagne
  • Chicken parmesan
  • Grilled hake with potato wedges
  • etc. etc. :-)
