Is it possible to get pregnant at 43?

Sure, it’s possible in most cases but, like Sue said, there can be some complications both physically and socially. Be sure that’s what you guys want and that you are both emotionally and financially stable enough to meet any challenges that come your way. Best of luck!

if you want to have kids at a more older age than thats your business you shouldn’t care what nobody else think at least you are not a teen mom

Dear wshs, If you haven’t went through total menopause…meaning that you have stopped ovulation for over a year then you can get pregnant. After the age of 28 you begin to increase the dangers of complications. In your 40s your chances of having a problem with birth and problems with birth defects is rather high. There are other things to take into consideration as well…your ages when your child is…lets say 10. Your boyfriend would be close to 60, not an idea age to be doing things that a 10 year old would require. By the time the child is a teen your boyfriend would be retired and college or university money would probably be at a premium. Attitudes and trends are also a problem because of the age gap. You really have to weigh the odds of having a healthy baby at your age…and I’m sorry to say the odds are against you. Sue…good luck
