Is there anything really important I should remember about public highschools?

Don’t be a b!tch unless you can take it, don’t walk around like you’re better than others, don’t expect things from people, and take care of yourself because NOBODY is going to do it for you.

I mean, there’s lots of people doing dru.gs, drinking, swearing, etc. There is always some sort of drama, but not like the movies. My school has a bullying problem, not sure about others though. It’s not like “give me your lunch money or I’ll beat the crap out of you” bullying. It’s more the awkward or different kids getting harassed by assh0les. They’ll be occasional fights. Actually, recently, we had some boys get into a fight in the locker rooms and one guy’s neck apparently was snapped. Moral of the story = guys locker rooms are awful, haha. Girls locker rooms are fine as long as you don’t go making enemies. Just be yourself & go with the flow. (:

be confident but dont expect to be the most popular girl on day one. dont be fake. dont let the drama and stupid stuff get to you. remember people are not nice and awesome until they are your friends, before you get close they are usually obnoxious, annoying, bullies, think they are cooler than they are, are flat out stupid, or completely fake. oh in highschool, the majority of guys really only want one thing. in highschool its not like when you were little, if a guy pulls your pigtails it doesnt mean he secretly likes you, it means he is an assh0le. dont act like youre better than people, but dont let people assume they are better than you. respect yourself, know when to keep your mouth shut, and when to say what you gotta say. turn your ringtone off or put it on vibrate before you get to school, turn the volume on your ipod down that way if it turns on in your purse the whole class wont hear it. dont do drrugs or smoke. dont isolate yourself, its ok to talk to people! smile :) but dont be creepy about it. dont worry about getting beat up by upperclassmen or getting shoved in lockers. know how to use a locker. you will have teachers you like, and teachers you hate: deal with it, dont try to change your schedual it wont work. wow there is tons of stuff… this was just some really random things, i dont know how long its been since you were in public schools or if it will be anything like mine. im a sophmore so i am just basing this off of what i know. you can funmail me if you want, or just ask here. sorry if this isnt what you wanted to know. good luck :)

There are over 2000 kids at my highschool (that’s grades 8-12) and it’s chaos! Some things you should remember include: don’t be b!tchy, don’t do things you don’t feel right doing in order to fit in and don’t spiral into a place where you can’t get out of called ‘slut world’. Even you won’t like yourself let alone anyone else. Good luck!

its inapropriate, mean and everyone swears. The main thing is to act like your cofident and know what your doing otherwise kids will pick on you

the drama is not worth it go to school to learn not be caught up in drama :)
