How can I tell for sure if my friend is bulimic?
My girlfriend I think is bulimic. She can eat 10 pieces of pizza and then throw it up and be happy and euphoric. she is 100 lbs and 5’7” gaunt looking with puffy eyes and face and really acid stained teeth that she has no explanation for. I have had friends who were bulimic before so I know the signs but I am not positive about it. What is a way to tell if she is for sure?
Well to be totally sure you need to ask her. for sure she has the signs but there are other things that she could have many people who are bulemic often dont eat that much but sometimes they do i have a type of eating disorder where it is hard to eat in front of people and sometimes i will eat one day and not agin for three more days. i was diagnosed with anarexia when i was young so i know how it is i am not anorexic i get that thrown on me. you need to tlak to your friend and see what she thinks about it you can not make someone go or do somehting they dont wanna do so u need to tlak to her and see if she knows anything about why she is doing it. most of all be there for her
Yeah, she’s bulimic. Bulimia, like anorexia, is a disease of the mind.. not a lifestyle. She needs medical help as soon as she can get it, before it gets out of hand.
yeah those are all the signs of bulimia… your going to have to seek her some help before things turn for the worst.
Yes she has some major signs. You should ask her to get help, or you could mention to a grownup that you know will get her help. Good Luck, I hope she gets better.
