How-- my painkillers arent working and I am in uncomfortable pain ?

I recently had my braces put on (two hours ago actually) and my mouth is killing me (not literally obv) So I took some painkillers about 20 mins ago and they arent working, I normally have to take ibuprofen and paracetamol, but the bad thing is paracetamol goes down my throat for about two seconds and then comes straight back owt. I am so uncomfortable its unreal Any ideas on what can stop my pain??? Please help!!

The baby-care aisle (teething infants), or next to the toothpaste usually. Sometimes they’ll be in the pain-relief section, but not often. You can ask a pharmacist where they keep ‘em. :)

Try swishing warm water- that helped me better than anything. (Some say cold works better for them)

and where do you get these anesthetics from???

Anesthetics like Anbesol and Orajel temporarily deaden the mouth.try them.
