How much exercise am I getting if I dance?

Sometimes (because I’m weird lol) I dance around a lot. I like to stay pretty active and I want to lose some weight. I don;t really know if it helps much, but I was just curious. Thanks! =)

I do a lot of sports and I just dance 4 the hell of it. I just wanted to know if it would be any help. ANd thanks

It doesn’t really help out too much unless it’s a dance where you do push-ups. Just try other methods like joining a sport if your not into conventional weight loss exercise methods.

It is helpful. Dance is a full body cardio workout. It keeps your body active and heart pumping. Will just that make you lsoe weight. Yes, if you do it everyday but you will not see much in weight loss. But dance is still healthy. Keep dancing, and dance is a sport. If you are serious about weight loss try looking at your diet, stay active, add in some cardio and try to do some pilates/yoga. Conventional workout isn;t the only way to go.
