How do I convince the devil/mother to let me go to winter formal?

Woah, hate this new thing. Anyways, I asked my mom if I could go to winter formal which is the twelfth of december. And she said no because it’s the virgin mary day thing. I don’t believe in that, it’s not the center of my world and she’s making me go. I don’t understand! I’m christian and it really means nothing to me. Then she brings the excuse that I’m too young to know what I believe in. I’m not ignorant! I’m a sophmore and didn’t go last year because of this stupid day also. Isn’t it only fair that I go? ]: it’s frustrating because she’s always trying to control what I do. I was also out with a friend and we were watching a movie at old town and she called my friends mom to pick us up at 8:30. I’m fifteen! This is horrible. How do I convince her to let me go and to understand that I’m older, I’m not 12!

Talk it over with her make an arrangement or deal like stay for a certain amount of time have a talk make sure to listen to her thoughts and make sure she listens to you also make an agreement like to pray extra the next few nights don’t get mad if the end result is no or at least try not to show it that beg and cry I don’t know but try and pay her money that could work or it would really really back fire I don’t know
