how do I become a chirtian

Why do you need to become a Christian so fast? I would think a life-changing decision like that would require some time to think. Is someone pressuring you?

but to put it in simple form all you need to do is this

• repent “ ask GOD to forgive you tell him your sorry for all that you’ve done”

• Be babtized “ full immersion into the water in Jesus name” reand acts 2:38

• receive the gift of the holy ghost “ which is also in acts 2:38!

and there you have it, that starts the journey of living for GOD! It’s wonderful! your dead without him! you owe him you life , and all he asks you to do is serve him and give yourself to him! them steps are all he asks of you!! and to live a holy life! ofcourse we sin but if we ask we are forgiven! But we need to try to live a holy life! noones perfect and if you are your not human haha!

The first abswer is dumb. That us not true. I love different people and I am different myself. Think about it, it’s ot brainwashing if no one is forcing it on you and we have reality and science is stupid and is trying to make you go to Hell!!! I have proof that God exists, bet your science can’t back this up: My dad healed a woman with a verse from the Bible and it said you have to believe in God for it to work. It worked, too. It was like nothing ever happened after he said the verse. If there was no God, it wouldn’t of even worked at all. It did, so God is real!!:)

let me ask why do you want to be a christian?

Amblessed showed you what to do, to receive salvation. If you are in a spirit filled church, ask for prayer for the Holy spirit, he can help you, and give you strength over this and any other problem, that you face.

As you grow in the Lord, by first receiving him into your life, and then, praying for the power of the Holy Spirit, by reading his word, by praying, meditating on him, etc. your spirit will grow, and you will be stronger, to stand against the things the flesh finds pleasurable.

It sounds to me like you really want to be free of this, so, just keep going in the right direction, it may take some time, but, if you stick to the things of God, you will be able to overcome this and everything else, that comes along.

It also helps to pray as David prayed, in Psalms, God, please put a watch on my tongue, that I may not sin against you. Pray this often, it will help.

It is not just a fleeting moment type of thing to do.

If you have been searching for the Lord, it is because He has been calling you first!

If, in your heart you really want to change, Jesus is the only One to help you do just that. We cannot do anything on our own.

Follow amblessed’s post to receive salvation, ask Jesus to help you by His Holy Spirit to change your language and He will. Again…you must want this change.

ok,you’ve got a good idea. but that shouldn’t be why u want to except christ. you have to want a personal relationship with him. not just bc you want to stop cussing. Im a christiian and I cuss A LOT. I know I shouldn’t,Its peer presure. but anywayz,just bc you except him doesn’t mean your going to stop cussing. and that could mess you up even more,excepting him for the wrong reason. I don’t mean to be mean about it,I’m just trying to help

Simple, you loose since of reality, become tunnel vision & predgidous against those different form you, & let the brainwashing begin. & Remember, believe in EVERYTHING the bible says & never question it, even the parts that make no since & have already been disproved by science. Good luck. The path to being brainwashed is more difficult for some than others.

Well if you have any christian friends talk to them, you can also study the bible not just at church, if you have any posters with cussing on them take then down, pray every night before you go to sleep, before you eat thank god for your food your life and your health, if u’ve done anything bad ask jesus and the lord for forgivness.

We all struggle in some areas of our life, cursing is no worse than my problem, all we can do is try to do better. I’m a christian, but sometimes I get confused with the bible. If I run across something that I don’t understand can I email you?

Really? Can I have your Dad’s phone number? Health care costs being what they are, I’d much rather pay a free visit to someone who just has to read a Bible verse to heal me.

I assume that your Dad, being the charitable guy that he is, regularly visits hospitals and reads this verse to heal people…people with pancreatic cancer, Autism, HIV, missing limbs, etc. All are healed just for believing in God, right?

I dont see how any of this makes sense being a christian WONT stop you from swearing the only person who can do that is you “god” isnt just going to majically “cure” your cussing thats not how the world works almost everyone swears if you feel like yours is a bit out of control talk to someone about it like a counsellor because theres people that can help you with your problem real life people with mouths that they use to tell you directly how you can overcome this you wont find your answers with faith faith isnt going to tell you how to fix something when it has no knowledge of how to do so

Do you know for sure that you have eternal life? If you are not sure, wouldn’t you like to be sure that if you were to die right now you would go to heaven to ever be with the Lord. Do not put off your salvation for another time. Maybe you think that you have to get yourself “good enough”. Maybe you think that you haven’t done anything bad enough to need salvation. Read the following verses and see what the Bible has to say.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 This means that despite what others may have told you, God offers only one path to God.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.” 1 Timothy 2:5 The Pope cannot mediate, nor priest, nor any deceased saint declared by the Catholic Church. Only Jesus.

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

This is what you need to do to receive Christ as your Savior.

THIS IS HOW:

1. Admit your need  (I am a sinner) 

2. Be willing to turn from your sins  (repent) 

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave 

4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. 

You must believe all of the above for salvation. If you do believe then say a prayer something like this:

Lord Jesus,

I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What should you do now?

Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.

Talk to God in prayer every day - Praise daily

Tell others about Christ

Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached

As Christ’s representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
