How can the DNC say not all of them count ?

In Florida, 1.75 million Democrats voted on January 29 - given the core principle of our great democracy is the right to vote - How can the DNC say not all of them count ?

Since democrats voted in Floorda, I’m not sure why the DNC would say that not all of them count. Unless they miscounted the votes. Otherwise, I’m not sure.

Because they broke the rules. Simple as that. If there was no punishment for their actions, what would happen in 2012, when we have all fifty states holding primaries in January. This is not the general election, it is a political party nomination,and the parties make up their own rules as to how they select a nominee. Florida and Michigan agreed to the rule that they could not hold their primary prior to super tuesday, and then broke that rule. If they don’t have any ramifications for breaking the rules, it will lead to chaos in future primary seasons.
