How can ii get my stepson to live with us?
My stepson is 12, he is seriously unhappy at home and wants to live with me and his dad. How can we go about sorting this?? Is he too young to walk out? We have tried sorting it with his mom but she won’t let him.
welll then take this to court so you can get costody of him…
Why is he having a bad time at home ??? And if it keeps happening have him tell someone so his dadcan also get costody if him…

Has he spoken to her himself about how un happy he is there? If he makes her see how un happy he is, and explains that he loves her very much but just wants to live with you guys?? Doubt she will want to let her little boy go without a fight:P (She may be afraid of losing him…my friends dad was terrfied when she moved in with her mum) Good luck
im 14 and had the same problem last year.I was seriously unhappy with all of the drama at my moms so I went to go live with my dad for a couple months.I got home sick so I went back to my moms.about three weeks later my dad filed custody for me.it took up my entire summer,I was depressed,didnt see my friends,slept all the time, and on top of that my mom was really depressed to.we didnt want to fight against my dad but we had to.
so my best advide is to talk with his mom about letting him stay the night with you guys for a couple days each week. talk with him about why he is so unhappy with his mom and try to resolve some of the problems.
