How can I tell what my hymen type is (please read)?

Hi. I’m 14 and I think I may have a microperforate hymen.

I can insert a tampon fairly well but when it comes to taking it out, I get a pain from where I inserted it. It usually takes a minute or two for me pull it out as I have to pull it slowly, otherwise the pain increases. Consequently I don’t like to use a tampon much unless my period is very heavy.

My hymen fills up most of my vagina; although when I pull apart the ‘lips’ I can see a small vaginal opening (I think that’s what it’s called) towards the bottom of my hymen.

My period is regular: I get one every month which usually lasts for up to 6 days. The blood seems to be able to flow out well.

What type of hymen do you think this sounds like?

I thought popping your cherry was the first time you had sex? so how can you pop a cherry through fingering?!

anyway I thought all hymens were the same

Hi. Thanks for your answers, yeah I’m pretty sure it’s microperforate although I think it’s ripped a small bit as I was bike riding a day or two ago.

microperforate hymen, not trying to sound nasty but you just have a vary tight vagina, my girlfriend had the same problenm and hers was so bad that I accutly poped her cherry while fingering her… so yes microperforate hymen, you could wait for that one person to pop it but it will be vary painful, or you could do it urself so when that time come you can accutly enjpy it hope this helps
