Please read.. Bug bite or more serious???

A few years ago I was diagnosed with mrsa. I had gotten it from an insect bite. I went to the doctor, did bleach baths, took antibiotics, and it went away. Tonight, I am staying with my grandparents at their house at the lake with my little 8yearold brother. He was wearing shorts earlier and I saw where he had something that looked like a white-headed pimple(gross I know)and nothing more. Now about twenty minutes ago, I saw that it now has a huge,very-sensitive red ring around it.it hurts to walk on the leg after we touched it a lot and now I am shaking I am so scared… Please tell me that something hasnt happened to him… Please respond to this!!!

he probably has “tap worm” I think that’s what it called and if so you shouldn’t touch or anything because you can catch it my lil brother had it too

Definately get him in and checked…he may just be more sensitive to “bite venom” than other people…or it could be the beginnings of blood poisoning…I can understand your fear after getting MRSA from a bite…the chances are that it won’t turn into MRSA, but just the same, the red ring indicates infection of some kind, and he may need anti-biotics.

I cant tell you that nothing more serious is happening, but of course go get it checked out asap! it could be just something small and unimportant or something some antibiotics can help with. just because its more than abug bite doesnt mean its something awful either. get it checked out, then do your best. thats all you can do.
