My brother has started a gang and I want him to be safe and not get hurt and all so I dont know what to do… So I need some advice so please help me I really love my brother

Answer #1

I would find a well-respected/experienced adult to take him aside and have a heart-to-heart before it’s too late…I wish you the best !!

Answer #2

TELL HIM BROTHER I DONT WANT YOU TO GET HURT… YOU ARE JUST WASTING YOUR LIFE BEING IN A GANG… PLEASE GET OUT OF THE GANG…

Answer #3

you should sit down with your brother and have a chat with him, tell him how you feel about his “gang”. and tell him that its very dangerous.

Answer #4

sometimes talk is all it take but pray can do A LOT… I don’t know if your that type of person but in this situation you should be… God can do amazing things if you just ask… I know what it feels like to have someone you love in a gang… and sometimes the most you can do is pray that God keeps them safe… just tell your brother how you really feel about it all and tell him how much you love him and how this is bothering you… knowing someone cares does help because one of the reasons he probably joined was because he wanted to feel like he was part of something… well thats all I have to say and I hope that it helps…

Answer #5

I agree with most of your responses here so far! Talk to him! The best thing you can do right now, is tell him exactly how you feel! Im sure he will listen to you since he is your brother! Communication is always important in any relationship, whether its your family member or friends.

Answer #6

I agree with butterflies, that’s probably best

Answer #7

One of the reasons people join a gang is to gain acceptance…respect…and some ‘luv’. Take a step back and look at how your brother fits into the family. How is he treated in the family? Does he keep to himself all the time? Can he talk to you or someone else in the family about his thoughts, feelings, concerns? There might be something wrong…maybe he isn’t really feeling part of the family so he is trying to built a family of his own. See what I’m saying? Let him know that you love him, that you care about him, that you are always there for him. That he has a family who loves and needs him. That’s very important for him to know.
