So...my friend was mis-diagnosed with dispraxia when really she had autism...she has great difficulty understanding a hell of a lot of things, as most people with autistm do...I was just wondering if anyone knows how I could try and get through to her that she needs to go to school...her grandmother has lost control of her and cant cope. I want to help...How can I do this? I have tried being there for my friend, we are very very close, but she wont go to school...she wont eat properly or look after herself...she hasnt been to school in 6 weeks..her hair is matted...im so worried about her because she is very angry all the time and her grandmother says she is depressed. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to try help the situation? (She wont accept help from profesionals...but has recently agreed to but I doubt that will happen as she is very in disicive (cant spell) Help please!! any advice greatly appreciated xx
well, she needs profesional help from a doctor or possibly even a councellor if she wont go to them ask them to come to her house or to your house and to give her advice and tell her why school is important
When she agreed to get help before, two proffessionals came to her house 3 times and she refused to see them. I guess there isnt much I can do. I just want so much for her to be happy:(
really there is no way that you can help, you canplay whit her and ll you know... she is how she is sometimes we just have to accept facts like that...
GOOD LUCK:)
