How to help my friend with her life at home?

Ok so one of my friends moms is being a super well I think you all know the word I want to call her. Anywho she is treating my friend really bad. My friend has gotten to the point where she was going to talk to a counselor about it, but then backed out. She also has Numbers she can call if things get super bad. She still wants to be a good daughter and obey her mom, but I can tell the situation is bothering her. She keeps asking me for advice but I dunno what to tell her. Her mom also wants to move away and take my friend with her. I dunno what to tell her. If she stays with her mom she could break under the pressure and possibly be moved away. ON the other hand if she stays she cold be put in some type of youth home. What should I do? How can I help her? I want to give her as much help as possible even if it means never seeing her again. I just want her to be safe and happy. What do I do?

neither of you can really change the fact that her mother is moving, I mean, she HAS to take her children with her. but trust me I know how your friend feels, I had to move from los angeles all the way to hillbilly central, georgia and I hated my mom too for a long while. but then I got over it, I made great friends and I’m happy here. the only thing you can do is just be supportive, and keep in touch. that’s what my LA friends did, and even though it’s been 2 years since I moved, I still talk to them every day :D

just support her and help her get her mind off all the bad things going around her just be supportive in this case good luck to you and your friend

well how old is your friend? because when she turns 17 she can make up her own mind of what she wants to do, but if not all I can tell you is to be there for her, let her tell you her feelings, so that way she can get it off her chest!!!
