how can i help my friend who just lost her grandpa?
she’s off in montreal, so when she comes back, what should I say? what should i do?
Just be there. You dont have to have the right words. Just listen. Try not allow her to talk about it if she’s in pain. It’s hard to know, because people are attached to people to different degrees. But dont worry too much. You obviously care about her a great deal, and you have an empathic nature. You’ll do fine. Your friend is lucky to have someone like you around.
I’m not sure, but do you know if there was a forrest fire there? I heard there was and the wind is blowing the smoke down here to the states. There was smoke eveywhere earlier.
