How can I become scene/skater without being a poser?

Ok well your 11 and who cares about idiots who call you a poser. they are jerks who cares?! it is you and if it isnt then you are a poser!just become skater slowely.

im new to skating im not a poser , I hate them !! I neew to know where to where baggy white plush jeans or track suit bottoms and do skates become good I’ve been lifting weights and tring to get the hang of curves im gonna loseen the trucks to my liking so its easier I do get calle a poser so fight back say somthing I do , it whipes the smile of there faces and they shut up one thing to do is to go to a local park ask about it to skaters watch to and egt them to teach you some basics please coment back !!! =] !!!

Honestly, just don’t even worry about it. Wear and do what you want, when you want, so long as you’re still a good person inside.

Seriously. On Monday I might dress COMPLETELY goth, with a corset, veil, and pointy boots, and then Tuesday I’ll wear skinny jeans and a bright pink top. By Thursday I’m wearing brown leather pants and a cowboy hat.

dont make ure style too goofy and try to wher different barnds at one not 1 brand dont dye your hair green because it fashoin stay natrule

ok some good places are ccs ,mostly on the internet that is, you can have them send you their magazines,more is depending on where you live if there is a local skate park just go there and watch I did then make a few friends some will teach you some tricks go aloing with it so it doesnt hurt their feelings then just kinda slowly add yourself in it

PLEASE dude, you’re 11 and you don’t no sht about anything yet. Wait a couple of years and then decide if you want to a fruitcake or not. In my country, yes, fruitcakes score but people talk sht about them and they are so shallow. Dont go along that road.

first thing is that yea scene is different than skater because I know two different people one scene and one skater and in the end they hate each other but you can be what you want and anywhere you go at least 2 people will hate u and 1 will call you a poseur. but just say something like,” im a scene not a model, I dont pose.” It sounds stupid but I have used it before and me and my friends laughed at the girls reaction the whole day. But then again be what you want because you could be a better scene being a skater than any others because your style is more compatible to your friends:] hope it helped

when people call people posers its gay. everyone had to start skating sometime. just go to pac sun and journeys and start to practice skating.

dont try too hard and stuff… isnt it already posing if you’re just like “today, I’m going to be SCENE.” 11… interesting… ;/

Look kid being scene and being a Skater are 2 differnt thing Scene is a styl and skatin’ is a way of life don’t try, be yourself=3k?

and if u just show up @ school w/ the scene hair/clothes one day u will DEFIDENTLY b called a poser. make ur progress slow.

also, dnt jus label urself scene . be who u truelly feel is the inner you. anybody that calls u a poser when ur showing the TRUE u, aren’t very good friends. so who gives a shizz bout them?
