a poser is someone prentending to be someone there not wanting to be part of a sterotype doesnt necessarily make you one because most kids and teens are part of one, to figure out who they are at that time but them they ususally grow up because you hardly see any adaults carrying the same lable they were as a child as for your question, yes it does sound poserish because you want to become a “hot scene girl” little do you know that people of every shape, colour, gender ect can be hot and when people think there hotter than everyone else that makes them conceited not only that but theres nothing unique about scene when everybody strives to be the same “unique” thing it becomes boring and overused instead, try to just take small parts from the style instead of overdoing it and dressing up like a tart
