What are some high intensity interval training workouts I can preform at home?

Answer #1

try P90X

Answer #2

i would but i would need to buy the DvDs and i dont have all the necessary exercise equipment needed and that can range up into $100s of dollars

Answer #3

Try the Insanity Workouts, they are from the same company as p90x but no extra equipment and it is more difficult than p90x. However yes, you would have to buy the DVD’s.

Another option is what my mother and I did before the Insanity workouts. We trained for a marathon. You don’t actually have to go to one, but find a training program (free and online) and follow it as if you were training. It will get you in the best shape of your life! Pair it with some weight training! Each lb of muscle you gain you burn an extra 50cals a day.

Also, try it with a clean diet. Fitness is 30% exercise and 70% diet, so try making everything you eat including things made of one ingredient (such as fruits and vegetables, eggs, etc).

Answer #4

I am already training for a marathon because i do plan on running one in the near future. I’m able to run a half of one right now no problem. I have been looking into getting the insanity, and p90x workouts but i simply can’t afford it at all. I also do some circuit training but i want a plan with higher intensity without added weight(i dont have money for them) I am going to try this one workout called the Accumulator but i would like other similar things i can do

Answer #5

In that case one of my favorite “go to” workouts was actually a workout that Britney Spears used to do when she was younger and something I added and it consists of: 20 min cardio (quick run) 50 crunches, 50 leg lifts (lay on your back and lift legs for abs) 30jumping jacks 5 push ups 25 high knees 7 burpees 10crunches 7squats 5pushups 10 crunches 5pushups 7squats 30 jumping jacks 25 high knees

then repeat it all again from the 50 crunches to the last 25 high knees (x3-5)

then finish off with 20 more minutes of cardio
